    Kendriya Vidyalaya is a system of central government schools under the Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India. The system came into being in 1962 under the name “Central Schools” and has been affiliated with CBSE since then. Later, the name was changed to Kendriya Vidyalaya.

    Kendriya Vidyalaya Panagarh came into existence in 1966 to provide uniforms and high-quality education to the wards of the Army, Air Force, and other Central Government employees. The sprawling campus of the Vidyalaya is located amidst lush greenery and the bounties of nature. The Vidyalaya has 35 rooms. Besides, there are some specific rooms as well. It accommodates nearly 1100 students studying from class I to XII with Science, Commerce, and Humanities at +2 levels.

    Vidyalaya has big classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, a resource room, and two computer labs with modern equipment. Its added facilities include a beautiful garden, a children’s park, and two big playgrounds.
