SOP/NDMA (Standard Operating Procedures / National Disaster Management Authority)

The Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Disaster Management Plan at PM SHRI Kendriya Vidyalaya Panagarh follow NDMA guidelines to ensure the safety and preparedness of students and staff. The plan covers natural disasters and man-made emergencies, with clearly defined responsibilities for teachers and school management. It includes evacuation routes, emergency equipment, and special care provisions for students with special needs. Safety measures such as CCTV surveillance, boundary walls, emergency communication systems, regular mock drills, and periodic updates strengthen preparedness. Psychological counselling and crisis communication support are also provided to promote safety, resilience, and effective emergency response.
